Events

East Park RDA receives no government funding and relies on the generosity of individuals, businesses and charitable trusts to fund our activities. Each school pays a fee for the riding session, but this does not cover the costs and in addition, the group’s annual running costs such as insurance, vets fees etc. have to be paid. We aim to make up the annual shortfall by holding fundraising events and obtaining donations and sponsorship.

Upcoming Events

We are holding a fundraising Quiz Night on Friday 19th January at 7.30 pm at Blackwell Primary School, East Grinstead.  Tickets are £10 per head to include a fish and chip supper.  Blow away those winter doldrums by raising a team of 2 to 8 people, and bring your own drinks to get the brain cells working.  Saz has tickets on 07711 106857.

Songbirds, a community Fundraising choir based in Crawley, have included us as one of their three chosen charities for the year, for which we are very grateful.  Their first event is Saturday 9th December from 5 pm to 7 pm at St Mary’s Church, Southgate, Crawley, West Sussex.  Entry is free and there will be refreshments and a retiring collection.  Do come along to support us and Songbirds and get yourselves in the Christmas spirit.
